At the very outset, on behalf of authority and Teaching-Non Teaching Staffs of Kherkata College, I express my sincere gratitude to welcome all students and their parents who are willingly seeking Admission at Kherkata College.
Kherkata College is only pioneer institution of Higher Education of the Matmara East part of under Dhakuakhana Sub-Division, Lakhimpur District (Assam). The major position of this vast area locality is inhabited by other backward communities like OBC-MOBC including ST and SC communities.
Kherkata College is a Govt. and University permitted college and the college has been running very successfully on public support and good civil. So that our main aim and object of mission is the area we shall produce at least one graduate in each family of the whole vast area through our college.
